Work on European pre-show experience recognised with latest accolade

Triotech, an award-winning creator of media-based attractions, has won another industry award for its work at the park in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The company says it is excited to share that its European Division CL Corp. won the Park World Excellence Award for “Best Dark Ride or Media-Based Experience 2021” for its work on the Underlandet attraction. The award is shared with industry leaders Gosetto, P&P Projects, and Lifeformations.

CL Corp’s “Dynamic Explorer” attraction is a key element of the preshow experience. An immersive motion cabin takes visitors into a journey “underground”, taking visitors into the unique habitat of the Liseberg rabbits. It creates the ideal mood and setting for the beginning of the guest journey.

Dynamic Explorer is the only motion cabin that offers a fully customisable trip with complete 360-degree immersion. Each version can be customised to relate to attraction storylines, with features such as false short circuits and dropping automatic ceiling hatches.

Other special effects can be added and combined with media-based effects to enhance guests’ immersion in the experience.

“Great recognition”

Liseberg’s Underlandet attraction, which opened in April 2020, had already ranked first in the European Star Awards’ Best New Rides in Europe for 2021, awarded by Kirmes & Park International.

Triotech CL Corp. division managing director for theme parks Deborah Attal says “We are very pleased to have participated in the Underlandet project at Liseberg. Those two awards are great recognition for all the teams involved in that project. Our customised immersive experience was integrated into the preshow which brings guests into the universe of the attraction.

“Our ultimate goal was to create the illusion of moving down underground so that visitors are 100% immersed in the story from the first second in the experience.”

Last month, Triotech exhibited at LeisurUp by MAPIC, taking place at Cannes, France.
