The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a country in the Middle East which consists of seven emirates and extends from the Arabian Gulf to the borders of Saudi Arabia and Oman.
The country has a thriving visitor attractions industry. In 2023, IAAPA named the UAE as the fastest-growing amusement park market within MENA. In addition, the country was also named as one of the top three most popular destinations for Middle East travellers by Mastercard Economics Institute’s Travel Industry Trends 2023 report.
Its capital city, Abu Dhabi, is home to over 1.5 million people and is a global finance and innovation centre. It is known for its tourist attractions and cultural offerings, both in the city and the surrounding Abu Dhabi emirate.
These attractions include leisure, entertainment and cultural destinations and experiences from Miral. Among its numerous development projects, the firm has created Yas Island, the region’s top entertainment and leisure destination which is located 10 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport. Yas Island is home to an array of unique attractions and theme parks, such as SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.

The UAE’s most populous city is Dubai. Dubai is known for its luxury resorts, towering skyscrapers, and sandy beaches. It has a thriving tourism industry, with attractions such as Dubai Safari Park, the theme park Motiongate Dubai, and the Burj Khalifa among its offerings.
