Karl Woolley, global head of immersive at Framestore, has a background in engineering and more than 15 years of experience with emerging technologies. He can offer a very high level of technical understanding and problem-solving to creative agencies and brand partners to deliver experiential projects.
Woolley’s work includes Framestore’s award-winning VR experience for Game of Thrones with HBO. He was also involved in the motion capture walk-around activation for Merrell’s ‘Trailscape’. He has led several projects for Samsung, Volkswagen and Waymo to deliver integrated marketing campaigns that engage consumers through immersive experiences.
The immersive team at Framestore, the visual effects specialist, collaborates with creative IP owners and companies to increase the impact of their fictional worlds. Projects cover location-based entertainment, virtual, physical and mixed worlds, as well as rides and attractions for theme parks.
