The Dutch company Tours & Tickets has 30 years’ experience as a flexible incoming tour operator. It specialises in excursions in the Netherlands and Belgium, offering City Sightseeing bus tours in Amsterdam, bus excursions to historic sites outside Amsterdam and Amsterdam canal cruises, as well as tickets for museums and attractions.
Challenge
To produce separate audio guides for bus and boat tours of Amsterdam with additional right and left versions allowing for different directions of travel. These needed to be created and delivered in 16 languages within a timeframe of 14 weeks.
Solution
This was one of the larger and most concentrated productions that Imagineear has ever undertaken. We scripted and produced over 70 hours of audio, with custom sound mix for the vast majority of tracks. A team of more than 70 people worked on the production, including 16 translators and 35 voice artists in ten studios in eight different countries.
What We Are Proud Of
The project was coordinated in Amsterdam, and delivered on time and on budget. The happy client now offers the enhanced multi-lingual audio experience to hundreds of thousands of visitors via their in-built GPS-triggered audio system.
