Juliana Gilling is a journalist and business writer. Her work has been published in a wide variety of titles both in the UK and the US, such as the Guardian, National Geographic Traveler, the Observer, and Museums Journal.
Gilling has been writing about the global attractions industry since 1994. She writes for the IAAPA News Hub and has been a contributing editor for the Association’s Funworld magazine since 2012, where her work ranges from CEO profiles to cover stories, features, news, and conference reports.
Her recent Funworld articles have covered topics such as the sustainability initiatives at Efteling in the Netherlands, the power of co-creation, social media, management issues, architecture, design and entertainment technology.
She also serves as books editor for WI Life magazine, the official publication of the largest women’s organisation in the UK.
Juliana Gilling began freelancing in 2005. She was formerly editor of Attractions Management magazine and assistant editor of Leisure Management and Leisure Opportunities magazines.
