From 17 – 19 June, Communicating the Arts 2025 will bring together industry professionals from the worlds of visual and performing arts, social history, and cultural spaces.
This year’s event, taking place in Amsterdam, celebrates the 25th anniversary of Communicating the Arts. To celebrate the milestone, cultural partners from the past 30 host destinations will be brought together, and over the course of 3 days, attendees can anticipate a packed schedule of inspirational presentations, and the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded professionals.
Communicating the Arts 2025 will be held at the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, both iconic institutions that house some of the most celebrated works in the world. Attendees will be able to discover highlights of the collections, learn more about their communication practices, and witness the restoration of Rembrandt’s master piece the ‘Night Watch’, at the Gallery of Honour.
The theme of Communicating the Arts 2025 is “Impact”, exploring how institutions can foster cohesiveness between social, educational, political, and financial aspects to maximise impact. Questions raised will go beyond viewing investments as a means to increase revenue and focus on the many ways in which the arts can enrich our society and deliver positive, multidimensional results.
