Tiffany Gilbert has worked in the association conference program planning field for over 15 years. Presently, she is the Assistant Director, Meetings & Events at the American Alliance of Museums (AAM).
With over 35,000 museums and museum professionals, AAM is the only organization representing the entire museum field, from art and history museums to science centers and zoos. AAM has been championing museums through advocacy and providing museum professionals with resources, connections, and inspiration in the form of professional development, education, and content since 1906.
Since Tiffany has joined the AAM team she has helped create innovative and engaging professional development offerings through sessions, unique learning experiences, and networking opportunities at the AAM Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo, both in-person and virtual. Tiffany actively works with internal and external subject matter experts to ensure presentations are inclusive, diverse, and provide the helpful take aways attendees need most.
Prior to Tiffany’s tenure at AAM, she worked at scientific and medical professional associations where she cultivated her skills in conference education and speaker management. Her laudable track record of creating engaging, purpose-based, and cost-effective learning programs through tactical conception of production, workflows, timelines, and formats has expanded while at AAM. Tiffany’s work will include creating and establishing long-term, in-person and virtual professional development opportunities for the AAM audience.
