The works in the city included upgrading and extending of footpaths; increased and improved lighting provision; under grounding of overhead services; new railings, additional street furniture and trees throughout the area. 

Environmental Street Furniture have recently supplied Newry & Mourne District Council with a range of street furniture supplying 120L mild steel litter bins, cast iron framed seating, with timber slats, cast iron planters, cast iron posts and mild steel panels. The street furniture was supplied in black RAL with gold banding.
