IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, has revealed that J&J Snack Foods is now an official partner. This three-year agreement with the New Jersey-based company is part of a new programme at IAAPA.
Josh Powers, IAAPA’s chief financial and commercial officer explains that this programme is being launched “to bring solutions to the industry by identifying and aligning with brands we think represent the world-class service and customer engagement the association strives for every day”.
“The leaders at J&J Snack Foods not only offer quality food and service but strive to grow and innovate the industry they serve,” Powers adds.
‘Fun Served Here’
J&J Snack Foods owns more than eight iconic snack food brands including Dippin Dots, Slush Puppie, SuperPretzel, ICEE, ¡Hola! Churro and Luigi’s Real Italian Ice. For 50 years the company has specialised in snacks and beverages that are multi-generational. They have created classic products that are easy to serve, profitable and tasty.
“Our company slogan, ‘Fun Served Here’, truly comes to life within the many attractions that IAAPA members represent,” says Dan Fachner, president and CEO of J&J Snack Foods. “Experiencing the delicious goodness of our brands help create lifelong memories that last through generations of families.”
“We’re proud of our new partnership with IAAPA and look forward to sharing our brands, innovation, and insights with their members to our mutual benefit,” Fachner adds.
The new partner programme will solidify new business relationships and allow IAAPA to work with companies that offer products that will enhance the global attractions industry. Anyone who is interested in learning more about these partnerships can contact partnerships@IAAPA.org.
IAAPA recently announced its 2022-2026 Global Theme and Amusement Park Outlook Report. This report forecasts a seven percent increase in attendance for North American theme parks. Consumer spending is also predicted to increase, reaching close to $32 billion by 2023. This would mean that the domestic attractions sector will have recovered pandemic-related losses.
