Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, has announced the appointment of Chris Angelos as its new director of sales.
Angelos brings a decade of sales leadership expertise and a dynamic, innovative approach to sales strategy to the executive leadership team.
Sales & business solutions
Angelos has a demonstrated track record of increasing revenue, enhancing and optimising processes, and developing excellent client relationships in the technology sector. His inventive and strategic sales approach complements Gateway’s growth and market leadership objectives.
Michael Andre, president and CEO of Gateway Ticketing Systems, says: “We are delighted to welcome Chris to our team. His wealth of experience, fresh perspective, and dynamic leadership style will be instrumental in leading our Business Solutions team to new heights. We are excited about his contributions to our company and look forward to a successful partnership.”
Angelos will play a key role in advancing the sales strategy and will head the sales team at the firm’s headquarters in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania. He will also lead and manage the Business Solutions team; creating and implementing sales strategies, overseeing customer success, monitoring sales performance indicators, cultivating client relationships, and accelerating revenue growth in strategic markets.
In addition, he will collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to find new business prospects and ensure that the sales force is in line with the aims and objectives of the organisation. Angelos will also manage the adoption of sales policies and processes to guarantee the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales process.
Angelos comments: “I am thrilled to join Gateway and be part of a team at the forefront of innovation in the tech industry. I am excited to leverage my experience and work collaboratively with the talented sales team to drive success, exceed targets, and deliver exceptional value to our clients by providing them with world-class service.”
Growing team
Todd Walton and Grant Smith have also recently joined the Gateway sales team. Walton has been appointed as partner development manager. He is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and manages the firm’s global value-added reseller accounts. Smith works for the organisation as a UK regional sales executive, managing accounts throughout the United Kingdom from his London base.
Angelos’ leadership of the sales team will play a critical role in accelerating Gateway’s growth trajectory and accomplishing its strategic goals. His appointment exemplifies the company’s dedication to excellence, innovation, and outstanding client value. Angelos began his new role in February.
Gateway employs over 170 people across the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. The team includes software developers, technical specialists, IT resources, project managers, customer service representatives, and other professionals.
