Hilton and Universal Pictures have teamed up on an immersive hotel experience in New York inspired by Wicked ahead of the movie premiere next month.
The experience, titled ‘Stay Like Wicked‘, is available at New York Hilton Midtown between 21 November and 5 January 2025.
Guests will stay in a spellbinding suite featuring an enchanting entrance with Emerald City-themed wallpaper and a custom-designed door.
The suite also includes a living area styled after the Wizard’s throne room and the art deco aesthetic of the Land of Oz.
Immersive overnight stays
In the suite’s bedrooms, guests will find dreamy décor based on the film’s main characters, Elphaba and Glinda.
Elphaba’s side of the room is inspired by Shiz University’s enchanted forest, with tree branches twisting around the headboard. Glinda’s side is a pink wonderland with a cherry blossom tree overhead.
Chris Silcock, president of global brands and commercial services at Hilton said guests can “fully immerse themselves in the powerful story of Universal Pictures’ Wicked“.
“This collaboration seamlessly blends the magic of the highly anticipated film with our signature Hilton hospitality to create an unparalleled experience for our guests that goes beyond the room itself,” he added.

The new Wicked experience includes a hidden beverage bar, a bespoke in-room happy hour with green and pink cocktails, and a mystical floating balloon filled with breakfast pastries.
Mark Sanders, general manager of New York Hilton Midtown, said: “This suite brings the story of Wicked off the big screen and into our hotel, creating an immersive, one-of-a-kind stay.
“From the enchanting décor to the special themed touches, guests will feel like they have stepped right into the Land of Oz, making their stay unforgettable.”
Immersive hotel stays are one of blooloop’s top trends to watch in the attractions industry this year. Hilton’s 2025 trends report also found that themed hotel experiences rose in popularity in 2023 and 2024, and are expected to grow next year.
