Finance professional Lou Pizante is co-founder and partner of The Experientialists, where he says he goes to the edge of what is possible in immersive entertainment and location-based experiential.
“In the thrilling, yet often bewildering, world of location-based entertainment and experiential happenings, I juggle the hats of (mostly fractional) CEO, CFO and GC, deftly balancing legal insight and financial acumen while trying my darnedest not to crush the creative soul,” Pizante says.
“I’m also part of a team of artists, engineers, and storytellers, where I sprinkle a bit of legal and financial pixie dust to transform brand activations and events into something akin to a cross between a Broadway show and a TED Talk, but with awesome spreadsheets and a smattering of lasers.”
In addition, Lou Pizante is general counsel of RPM Raceway, managing such risks as supplying high-powered, all-electric, indoor go-karts to consumers. As a side hustle, he mentors entrepreneurs and has a pro bono social impact legal practice. Pizante is a founding member of Make Believe Labs, a highly secretive makers guild that bends magic and engineering into perfectly impossible multi-sensory experiences.
Highlights in Pizante’s career include selling the Mexican government an organic cloud that rained actual tequila.
“I’m in desperate need of either more time or more sleep, but always open to exploring opportunities to execute on big, creative ideas that make the world more interesting. There are a lot of big ideas. Execution is what matters, and I specialize in execution,” Pizante adds.
