Kentucky Kingdom has shared a look at the new rides opening as part of its new $11 million family-friendly land in May of this year.
As recently revealed, the Kentucky-themed land is the first part of the theme park’s $25m investment over the next two seasons.
The upcoming zone will boast three new family-friendly rides, 10 re-themed rides, a new 4,800-square-foot playground, and two reimagined dining locations.

The new ride details are as follows:
- A train ride that winds through the wilderness, with guests looking for furry friends
- A swinging family ride inspired by a famous Kentucky bird, featuring an oval-shaped course and thrilling turns
- A new squirrel-themed family ride situated in the lush gardens of the new land
“I know that families are going to love these new rides and our brand-new land that celebrates Kentucky,” said Sarah Worrell, Kentucky Kingdom‘s general manager.
