The son of a diplomat, Dorrett has helped build FORREC into one of the industry’s key global entertainment design firms.
The Canadian company has been there at the conception of many major theme park, entertainment, museum and visitor attraction projects.
Headquartered in Toronto, FORREC has over 130 employees and projects in more than 20 countries. Dorrett cited the importance of maintaining a youthful leadership as one of the reasons behind his decision to step aside as FORREC chief executive in 2017, to be replaced by Cale Heit. Yet as executive director, Dorrett still works closely with masterplanners and the creative team.
Dorrett retired from FORREC in 2020.
