Before forming Entertainment + Culture Advisors (ECA), Braun was head of the entertainment practice at Economics Research Associates (ERA), the company founded by the legendary late economist Harrison ‘Buzz’ Price.
With offices in Los Angeles and Hong Kong, ECA’s feasibility analysis and destination development services ensure clients spend their large budgets on projects that are successful and sustainable.
Those clients include the major theme park groups Disney, Universal, SeaWorld Entertainment and Merlin Entertainments, plus cultural attractions including the JP Getty Center in Los Angeles, the Rose Center at the American Museum of Natural History in New York and the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco.
In 2023, ECA announced Braun’s retirement, stating that he would go on to serve as a senior advisor to the company.
