The Museo de la Luz, located in Mexico City, is part of the Dirección General de Divulgación de la Ciencia at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Rubiales’ responsibilities include curating exhibits, organising educational activities, and fostering a deeper public understanding of science through engaging and thought-provoking displays.
Rubiales’ work is distinguished by his dedication to developing educational and inclusive museum experiences. He has played a pivotal role in the creation of several new museums across Latin America, including the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC) in Mexico, the Museo de la Ciudad de Panamá, and the Yaku Parque Museo del Agua in Quito.
