Samsung Everland Revives Universe Big Wheel with VR

News

Samsung Everland has brought iconic ride, the Universe Big Wheel, back to life using VR technology.

Visitors wearing VR goggles will view the landscape as if the wheel, which closed in 2010, is rotating.  The wheel itself is actually be stationary and only the four cars nearest the ground are used for the experience.

The Universe Big Wheel operated for 28 years at Samsung Everland, running for 20 million rides.

This is the third VR experience at Everland – there is a VR program on the Thomas Train and a 4-D VR experience hall.
