Rayan Soumsom has been appointed by Digital Projection as its regional manager for Middle East operations. He started in the role on January 1 and will work alongside Abdulrahman Aladaw.
Aladaw has also been promoted to regional manager after working as Business Development Manager since November 2017. Together Soumsom and Aladaw will leverage their respective contacts and knowledge of the Middle East to build on Digital Projection’s growth in the region.
Aladaw is expected to focus his efforts on the UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt and Turkey as well as other selected markets. Meanwhile Soumsom will oversee opportunities for growth in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Bahrain and other territories as required.
Middle East knowledge and experience
The two highly skilled regional managers speak Arabic, English, French and Turkish between them. Together they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, including Rayan’s eight years working for global automated solutions company Cestron.

Digital Projection’s existing general manager for the Middle East, Matthew Horwood is to expand his duties to take up the position of Radiance LED (flat panels) business manager for the EMEA region. Based in Dubai, the Middle East team will receive operational support from the company’s Manchester (UK) headquarters.
