Awards success in Aberdeen
UKinbound, the voice of inbound tourism in the UK, holds its Awards for Excellence each year. Over several different categories, these awards are designed to celebrate companies and individuals who have made a significant contribution to the continued success of the inbound tourism sector. This year’s ceremony took place at the association’s Annual Convention in Aberdeen, following a two-year hiatus as a result of COVID-19.
John Boulding is CMO of Vox Group. He says: “Technology doesn’t necessarily need to replace the product you provide your guests; it can, however, quickly and simply complement and supplement your offering to create a better and richer user experience.”
A spokesperson for Sycomore adds: “Now is the time for us all to be rethinking tourism and finding new ways to share expertise and resources across culture and tourism. Get in touch to discuss how we can leverage this partnership to benefit your site and your audiences.”
Earlier this year, Sycomore opened a new office in Dublin, Ireland. Vox Group plans to invest €5 million in the Dublin office. Since lockdown, Sycomore has been developing products and services that allow sites, venues and attractions to create unforgettable experiences, enhanced on the best hardware and software platforms. Its booking and ticketing software, added to its relationship with online travel agencies, can help venues of any size to thrive.
