KCC Entertainment Design, a leading creator of themed environments, will be attending this year’s MAPIC, an international retail property market event gathering professionals from over 75 countries. The event will be held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, over three days, from Tuesday 28 November until Thursday 30 November 2023. It will also feature LeisurUp, MAPIC’s hub for the leisure sector community, which returns for the third time.
KCC Entertainment Design is ideally placed to help shopping centre owners strengthen their assets and attract a wider group of visitors, thanks to its extensive experience in integrating entertainment concepts into retail settings. Its projects are sustainable and profitable, and have a positive impact on footfall.
During a pitch session and as a speaker during LeisurUp, KCC Entertainment Design will also present a new entertainment concept, which has been designed for areas starting at 400 square metres.

New entertainment venue for Tropical Islands
The firm has also announced that it has been appointed as the realization contractor for a new social entertainment venue at Tropical Islands in Berlin.
Ohana Lodges is a new hotel addition to the park, which will increase the overnight accommodation availability. It will include a social entertainment venue of 1300 square metres, suitable for guests of all ages. The fusion of food and beverage offerings with diverse entertainment options will offer tourists an exceptional evening experience and improve their overall stay at Tropical Islands, which is part of the Parques Reunidos portfolio.
Having finished the design phase, KCC is currently working on implementing the full theming, which will be a lush Tiki jungle that carries over the park’s overall atmosphere.
Earlier this year, KCC Entertainment Design worked on the development, design and build of Experimental Park, an innovative new destination in Jaux, near Paris, France.
