purematic provides live wait times at Fort Fun

purematic, a provider of visitor management and evaluation software solutions for the attractions industry, is installing a cutting-edge, minute-by-minute waiting time recording system for Wild River at Fort Fun amusement park in Germany, part of the Looping Group.

The partnership will expand the park’s digital offering and enable it to precisely calculate waiting periods at the popular attraction using purematic’s sophisticated sensors.

Data is simultaneously stored in an app for internal use and presented in the park using the purematic digital signage system (pure.DSS). This gives visitors real-time information about wait times upon entry to the attraction. The system improves satisfaction and optimises visitor flow within the park by keeping guests informed.

Andreas Sievering, managing director of Fort Fun, says: “We are delighted to be able to further expand our partnership with purematic. The minute-by-minute waiting time recording at Wild River is a further step in our digital transformation and helps to make the visitor experience even more pleasant and stress-free.”

Accurate & reliable system

In addition to the park entrance, Wild River is Fort Fun’s third attraction to use purematic’s groundbreaking waiting time calculation technology. This continuing adoption demonstrates Fort Fun’s dedication to offering exceptional service through cutting-edge technologies.

Michael Post, managing director of purematic, comments: “We are proud to support Fort Fun with our technology. Our solutions not only offer high accuracy and reliability, but also user-friendly integration into existing systems. We are delighted to see how our technology is helping to sustainably improve the visitor experience at our clients.”

In addition to calculating live wait times, purematic provides visitor analysis and recommendations for theme parks. Its system can capture a range of key ride performance indicators such as capacity, output, downtime, operations quality, and others.

These tailored technologies help amusement parks optimise processes, collect valuable data, and set up targeted energy-saving initiatives. Clients include Europa-Park and Rulantica, Djurs Sommerland, Liseberg, Fort Fun, and many others.

purematic will be exhibiting at IAAPA Expo Europe in Amsterdam, which takes place from 23 to 27 September. Visitors can find the firm at booth #8140 in hall 8, where they can learn more about the system’s potential for their park and sign up for a three-month trial of the system at one of their attractions for just €1.
