Haystack Dryers, a supplier of patented body drying products, brought two brand-new Haystack Cyclone Dryers to Futuroscope, one of France’s most innovative and immersive theme parks.
The dryers are positioned at the exit of Mission Bermudes, the park’s latest attraction that blends the thrill of a roller coaster with the excitement of a water ride. As guests step out of this high-energy, water-soaked adventure, the powerful full-body dryers allow them to dry off quickly and comfortably, so they can continue enjoying their visit.
“We’re delighted to be part of the grand opening of such a groundbreaking new ride,” says Paul Thomas, managing director of Haystack Dryers.
“Mission Bermudes promises plenty of thrills—and plenty of water—so our dryers are a natural fit at the ride’s exit. We’re proud to continue supporting Futuroscope in delivering memorable, guest-focused experiences.”
Convenience and comfort
This latest installation highlights Haystack Dryers’ dedication to improving comfort and convenience at top attractions across Europe. It follows last year’s installation of two body dryers at another popular French park, Walibi Rhône-Alpes.
Located in the park’s Exotic Island zone, the Haystack body dryers provide a quick and refreshing way for guests to dry off after enjoying the area’s water attractions—ideal for those heading straight from a splash to the park’s thrilling new Mahuka coaster.
Carefully located near the most water-rich areas of the tropical-themed zone, the new units offer both convenience and comfort, improving the overall guest experience. With this recent addition, the park continues to focus on fun, practicality, and guest satisfaction.
The project coincided with Walibi Rhône-Alpes’ 45th anniversary last year, and the firm says: “From all of us at Haystack Dryers: congratulations, Walibi Rhône-Alpes! We’re proud to see our European fleet grow in such a spectacular setting.”
Haystack Dryers will once again be exhibiting at IAAPA Expo Europe 2025, this year taking place in Barcelona, Spain, from 22 – 26 September.
Last year, Haystack Dryers also provided a Haystack Cyclone body dryer for the Denny Sanford Family Splash Pad at Great Plains Zoo in South Dakota, illustrating its reach beyond the theme park and water park sectors.
