Six Flags Over Texas is set to open the world’s tallest, fastest and longest dive coaster, named Tormenta Rampaging Run, in 2026.
Designed by Bolliger & Mabillard, Tormenta Rampaging Run will also be the world’s first giga dive coaster, meaning it will stand at more than 300 feet tall.
Themed after the running of the bulls in Spain, the new coaster will tower over a new Spanish village called Rancho de la Tormenta and the new Cocina Abuela restaurant.
The Spanish village will be an immersive area with colourful decor and Spanish music, while Cocina Abuela will serve dishes like Spanish rice, patatas bravas, and chicken tinga.

During the ride experience, guests will be lifted to a height of 309 feet, before being plunged into a record-breaking 95-degree, beyond vertical drop.
As the world’s fastest and longest dive coaster, Tormenta Rampaging Run will feature top speeds of 87 mph and span 4,199 feet.
Highlights also include the world’s tallest vertical coaster loop at 179 feet, and the highest-ever Immelmann inversion at 218 feet.
