Signal Space, a new permanent gallery for digital art, is opening in Prague, the Czech Republic on 30 September.
Via a press release, Signal Space is a new kind of gallery, a purpose-built space for light design, visual media and digital art.
Its inaugural exhibition, Echoes of Tomorrow, “explores how our visions of the future shape
today”, said Signal Space founder Martin Pošta.
“How dreams of what’s to come leave echoes in what already is. And how these echoes in our cities, our technologies, and our emotions – are beginning to take form now,” Pošta added.
Echoes of Tomorrow will feature eight artworks, including ‘Signes’ by Playmodes Studio, an audiovisual canvas of movement, light and sound, driven by generative algorithms.
‘intangible #form’ by Shohei Fujimoto is another artwork, and it explores the process of perception through spatial structures composed of laser light.

And, by visual artist Quayola in collaboration with electronic and AV artist Max Cooper, ‘Fighters’ is a film celebrating algorithmic logic and robotics precision, as well as the heritage of sculptural traditions.
“Each work offers a different way of thinking about the future – not as something distant, but as a web of choices, habits, memories, and technological gestures that shape our everyday,” Pošta said.
“This first exhibition is not just a premiere, it is a manifesto.”
In addition to the exhibition, Signal Space will host a programme of activities, including DJ sets, live performances and a series of lectures, including a talk on creative coding by new media artist, designer and computer programmer, Zach Lieberman.
The attraction also features Signal Playground, an interactive space where young children and families can learn more about digital art and technology.
Echoes of Tomorrow will run until the end of March 2026, with Signal Space’s second exhibition to launch the following month.
The art collective behind Signal Space has been running Signal Festival, a digital and light-based art and projection mapping festival, for the past 13 years.
