ISO-Gruppe brings Pacific platform to Legoland Billund

Reservation system is helping to maximise the visitor experience at the flagship park

ISO-Gruppe, a specialist provider of cutting-edge IT solutions for the attractions industry, has supplied its reservation and packaging system, Pacific, and Internet Booking Engine (IBE) to Legoland Billund in Denmark.

ISO-Gruppe serves eleven other parks, including numerous other Legoland locations.

Legoland Billund is the original and best-known Legoland park and has been captivating guests from around the world for generations. With its adoption of Pacific and IBE, the park now has a platform that centrally maps all relevant processes.

Markus Kretschmer, managing director of ISO Travel Solutions, says: “Legoland Billund is the flagship of the Lego world, so we are excited to contribute to maximizing the visitor experience with our solution.

“Our close collaboration with the on-site team and the successful implementation of an additional park demonstrate the flexibility and power of our Pacific platform in complex system landscapes.”

Versatile, efficient tools

With this solution, the Legoland Billund team has more freedom and flexibility in creating and marketing package deals. Offers can be updated in real time and displayed immediately, both online and offline, and individual workflows are optimised by smart automation.

A key feature, the automated conference reservation tool, simplifies complicated processes and saves time. With a direct connection to the Opera hotel reservation system, the tool guarantees efficient end-to-end digitalisation, eliminating the need for manual processes that were previously prone to error.

The new website now offers visitors an intuitive booking process with enhanced options for selecting hotels and additional services, in addition to optimised cross-selling and upselling. This usability is reflected in higher conversion rates and a greater average order value. Furthermore, the number of inquiries in the call centre has significantly fallen.

The new system was implemented in late 2024, with fine-tuning and full integration into the daily workflow for all employees in the first quarter of 2025.

Last month, ISO-Gruppe shared insights into the benefits of a multi-room booking function for theme park operators and users. “The modern theme park industry faces the challenge of meeting the increasing demands of guests while ensuring efficient processes,” said the company. “With the increasing popularity of family and group travel, the demand for more sophisticated booking functions is also growing.”
