IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, has released details of the Opening Ceremony for this year’s IAAPA Expo Asia in Singapore, including an executive roundtable featuring the Association’s president and chief executive officer and chair of the IAAPA Board of Directors.

The Opening Ceremony marks the start of IAAPA Expo Asia 2023, which will bring together business experts, thought leaders, and significant stakeholders from all over the world. It will lay the ground for an exciting and engaging experience that presents the most recent developments, trends, and business prospects in the attractions sector.

Roundtable to feature expert insights

The exclusive roundtable session will offer a platform for interesting conversation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration on key topics in the sector.

It will include insights from Jim Pattison, Jr., chair of the IAAPA Board of Directors and president of Ripley’s Entertainment; Andrew Bolstein, chair of the IAAPA Asia Pacific Advisory Committee; Jakob Wahl, IAAPA president and chief executive officer; and June Ko, executive director and vice president of IAAPA’s Asia Pacific region. Together, they will discuss emerging trends, global challenges, and innovative strategies that drive the attractions industry’s growth and success.

“We are excited to kick off IAAPA Expo Asia 2023 with an unforgettable Opening Ceremony and an executive roundtable discussion,” says Ko. “This event represents a unique opportunity for industry and association leaders to connect, exchange ideas, and collectively shape the future of our vibrant industry. We look forward to welcoming participants from around the world to this remarkable gathering.”

The event will take place at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands from 13 – 16 June 2023. Attendees will include leading manufacturers, suppliers, operators, and industry experts from a range of industries, including theme parks, water parks, family entertainment centres, zoos, aquariums, museums, and more.

There will be a 7,000-square-metre trade show floor with 287 exhibitions from over 30 countries, as well as educational sessions and chances to network with peers and make new connections. Registration is open now.
