As the Asian Attractions Expo (AAE) gets underway in Hong Kong, WhiteWater celebrates multiple successful projects in Asia, the Middle East and beyond.
Wet‘n’Wild Haikou (above) is Village Roadshow Theme Park’s first waterpark in China and features the country’s first-ever 4-person AquaTube water slide. Classic water slides at the park include the AquaLoop, Whizzard, Super Bowl, Boomerango, and Master Blaster.
WhiteWater has an established relationship with the Australian theme park operator. The pair have worked on numerous parks including Sydney, Palm Springs, and Las Vegas.
In Central China, Changsha Window of the World theme park features one of the company’s Adventure Trail play structures. The dinosaur-themed 5-tower attraction offers an interactive adventure where kids can climb, challenge themselves and explore.
WhiteWater has a long-standing relationship with Wanda
Among Wanda Group’s newest attractions is Wanda Qingdao Oriental Studio Indoor Waterpark, located adjacent to its movie studio in Qingdao, China. Again, WhiteWater has a long-standing partnership with Wanda, having provided a ride in every single Wanda water park in the past seven years. This latest waterpark features the world’s first AquaSphere + Rattler fusion.
“Wanda Studios Qingdao is a great example of the collaborative relationship we have and enjoy with Wanda,” comments Doug Smith, WhiteWater’s Regional Vice President for Asia Pacific. “They are a great client to be able to work with.”
Over in the Middle East, WhiteWater has supplied a host of rides to the new Laguna Waterpark at Dubai’s popular beachfront, La Mer. The new facility features four zones: a surf zone, a water slide complex, a splash pad area for children, and an AquaPlay area. Surfers can hone their skills on FlowRider’s new WaveOz, while thrill-seekers can experience Whizzard, Flatline Loop, Freefall slide and more.
In the US, visitors to SeaWorld Orlando’s Aquatica waterpark have a brand new experience to enjoy: the Ray Rush waterslide. While in Spain, WhiteWater has supplied two new slide complexes to Parque Warner Beach, themed on Justice League heroes and villains.
