DOF Robotics, a producer of dynamic simulation platforms, has been awarded an IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Best Exhibit at IAAPA Expo Asia 2023.
The firm scooped second place in the 63 square meters and larger category, for Booth L1513.
The booth showcases innovative new products, such as the upgraded Hurricane VR 360 attraction, and offers delegates live demonstrations of DOF Robotics’ range of entertainment experiences. The company has also launched the VR movie Homeland: Rise of Nomads at the conference.
The show is running until 16 June at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
The Brass Ring Awards
The IAAPA Brass Ring Awards celebrate excellence in the visitor attractions sector and are recognised as one of the industry’s highest accolades. Booths were judged on their overall attractiveness, staffing, product, branding, and design.
The awards attracted over 80 entries, with six winners selected over three categories.
The name ‘brass ring’ originates from carousel rides in the 19th century. Brass rings were hung on the carousel, and if the rider could catch hold of a ring they would win a prize. The term is now used to describe exceptional achievement.
IAAPA Expo Asia is the leading conference for the visitor attractions industry in Asia. DOF Robotics is a sponsor of this year’s event. Visitors wanting to learn more could join the firm’s Sponsor Spotlight event on 14 June, where marketing manager Emrah Ilkan discussed the impacts of IP-based experiences.
DOF Robotics has exhibited at several trade shows and conferences this summer. In May, the team exhibited at the AALARA (Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association) Conference on the Gold Coast in Australia, and the Saudi Entertainment and Amusement (SEA) Expo 2023 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The firm also attended the Cruise Ship Interiors Expo (CSI) in Miami, Florida, from 6 – 7 June and Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, from 13 – 15 June.
