Semnox Solutions, a provider of technology for the entertainment and amusement industry, has announced that it is working with Mike Abecassis to modernise and optimise the operational systems of Dezerland Action Park in Miami, Florida.
As the proprietor of GameTime, a multi-unit family entertainment centre with full-service food options with locations in Daytona, Fort Myers, Miami, Ocoee, Tampa, and Kissimmee, Abecassis has vast expertise in the attractions business. After purchasing Dezerland in Miami, he intends to use Semnox to upgrade and modernise the venue’s technology solutions to ensure a smooth and cutting-edge visitor experience.
Boosting efficiency and improving the guest experience
Go-karts, roller skating, a rope course, rock climbing, a ninja course, a trampoline park, virtual reality games, a full arcade, and food and drink options are just a few of the indoor attractions available at Dezerland Park. Previously, the park was using six to eight separate systems, few of which were integrated. Now, the segmented systems located throughout the park will be easily combined into a single, unified platform by switching to Semnox Solutions’ cutting-edge technology, streamlining operations and increasing efficiency.
“The transition was quick and painless without any disruption to ongoing operations. Some of the key components of the new system are the addition of missing functions such as e-commerce, online party booking and reservations, self-service kiosks for gameplay and redemption management, time-slot scheduling, and much more,” says Abecassis.
“These enhancements will significantly boost the overall function of the park.”
Dezerland Action Park will be powered by Semnox Parafait’s whole ecosystem of integrated solutions, which range from RFID-based debit card systems, cards and wristbands and “tap-to-play” capability in the arcade, to multi-channel sales platforms, venue POS, and Self-Service Kiosks. Additionally, the venue will use Kitchen Display systems for inventory control of food and drink redemptions. Dezerland can run efficiently with Semnox’s all-inclusive software solutions, therefore maximising revenue, and providing the best possible customer experience for its visitors.
Bepin Jose of Semnox adds: “Changing from these many systems is a strategic move with significant gains when executed well. This undertaking not only simplifies the systems portfolio but also improves the quality of information as data is no longer scattered. We thank Mike Abecassis for his visionary leadership and guidance!”
Dezerland Action Park hopes to utilise the most recent technological developments in the park’s operations through its cooperation with Semnox Solutions. A seamless integration of numerous functions will be possible thanks to the all-inclusive system, offering a unified and efficient experience for both guests and workers.
Earlier this month, Semnox announced that it has deployed its Tixera Park and Attraction Solutions at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, UK. This collaboration has enhanced the amusement park’s operations by providing greater convenience, automation, and significant data insights.
