Connect&GO Village Québécois d’Antan

Heritage site is adopting the Konnect platform to boost ticket sales

Connect&GO, a leader in guest experience engineering and wearable RFID technology for attractions, is working with The Village Québécois d’Antan, Canada. It will supply the Konnect all-in-one attractions management platform to the heritage attraction.

Visitors to The Village Québécois d’Antan enjoy a time-travelling experience which combines technology with tradition at the living museum and heritage site.

The event calendar features a range of seasonal events across the year, designed for the whole family to enjoy. In 2023, an all-new summer experience has been developed with Moment Factory which transports visitors to the 1800s.

In the autumn, the Village hosts an eerie Haunted Village as well as daily activities for guests of all ages. To end the year, the Desjardins Illuminated Village immerses visitors in the Christmas spirit, while spring 2024 will welcome a tempting Quebec sugar shack. Aside from seasonal activities, the Village provides reception areas for corporate events, weddings, family parties, and other group events.

Next-generation technology

The Konnect all-in-one attractions management platform will improve ticket and season pass sales through the unified system which includes eCommerce, point-of-sale, and access control. To boost sales and re-engage visitors, The Village Québécois d’Antan will also use Konnect’s marketing and CRM interface with ActiveCampaign. The village will be able to provide automated direct communication that is customised based on Konnect’s real-time eCommerce data.

Stéfany Duguay, director of communications and marketing, says: “Connect&GO’s platform is on the cutting-edge of technology and fully tailored to our unique needs in the tourism industry. With Connect&GO, we can offer an exceptional user experience that matches what we strive to provide to all our guests at the Village Québécois d’Antan.”

Legacy technology silos data and keeps systems apart. In contrast, Connect&GO’s Konnect all-in-one attractions management platform provides a single hub. This manages eCommerce, point-of-sale, food and beverage, RFID access control, and cash-free payments – all with real-time data. The platform also connects with more than 12 different partner systems to support operators in creating seamless experiences and capitalising on unique possibilities for growth.

“We’re honored to help The Village Québécois d’Antan provide a modern and frictionless experience through next-generation technology,” comments Dominic Gagnon, CEO of Connect&GO. “Our focus is to help our clients grow their revenue and maximize guest engagement with the most innovative all-in-one platform for the attractions industry.”

Connect&GO recently announced a new collaboration with Amilia, a leading technology company offering an innovative online registration and membership management platform. The two firms aim to revolutionise the guest experience in the attractions industry.
