Dreambox360º, described as an immersive and intimate 5D projection experience, is coming to the Las Vegas Strip in early 2024.
Developed by the team behind Minus5º Icebar and located at The Linq Promenade shopping centre, Dreambox360º will offer several thrilling experiences.
One adventure, called ‘The Arctic Ghost Ship: A Quest in Search of the Lost Rum’, features a 15-minute animated film. Guests will drink cocktails with Captain Flint McGreggor as they are surrounded by 360 degrees of cutting-edge visuals and audio, with 5D effects such as rain, mist and wind.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, Dreambox360º will become a psychedelic experience called ‘The Weekend Trip’, offering trippy projections, a live DJ, an open bar and 5D effects such as thunderstorms and blizzards.
As per a press release, Dreambox360º is an intimate projection attraction as it is designed for small audiences of up to 35 people.
“As passive projection attractions continue to grow in popularity, we aim to spearhead the future of storytelling by producing an even more personalized and action-packed experience with Dreambox360º,” said Noel Bowman, owner.
“Combining smaller, more intimate crowds with 5D elements will create an immersive atmosphere that you can actually feel, unlike anything seen before. We cannot wait for visitors to enjoy this concept next year.”
New “immersive and intimate” venue
Also new in Vegas is the $2.3 billion Sphere venue – the world’s largest spherical structure with the world’s largest and highest-resolution LED screen.
The entertainment destination, which opened last week with a U2 show, is home to immersive experiences, performances and events. It also hosts original productions by Hollywood directors, including The Whale and Black Swan helmer Darren Aronofsky.
Elsewhere, Vegas’ Area15 is becoming ‘ScArea15’ for Halloween. On offer will be the first ‘Goth and Glampire GRave’, a Nevada Day trick-or-treating event and creepy karaoke.
