1050 Studio rebrand

Updates reflect the company’s transition from gaming to focus on the themed entertainment industry

1050 Studio, creators of media-based attractions for theme parks and public spaces around the world, has revealed a major rebrand and new website.

The new branding and website reflect the company’s transition from the gaming field and announce its focus on the themed entertainment industry.

In recent years, Bon Art Studio JSC, an art, design, and animation creator and game developer, has gradually started moving from the gaming industry to applying all its high-end skills and knowledge to crafting beautiful and engaging interactive media for theme parks, museums and public spaces.

Bon Art Studio has delivered premium-quality graphics for 20 years. Its clients have included renowned companies such as Microsoft, Disney, Capcom, NCSoft, 2K, Storm 8, Nitro Games, Don’t Nod, F9 Entertainment, Big Fish Games and many other well-known companies in the field of gaming across North America and Europe. The most recent projects added to this list are for Alterface and Sally Dark Rides – some of the most well-established and respected companies in the leisure and entertainment business.

The company is behind the creation of multiple award-winning dark rides, such as Sesame Street: Street Mission at Port Aventura World, Uncharted: The Enigma of Penitence at Port Aventura World, Popcorn Revenge at Walibi, Bazyliszek at Legendia, Le KinĂ©torium at Jardin d’Acclimatation, and many others. Alongside dark rides, it has created more than 25 digital interactives for museums, family centres and public spaces, including Muzeiko – the biggest science centre for children in Eastern Europe.

New look aims at new heights

The company announced its commitment to the attraction industry with its recent rebranding. 1050 Studio proudly continues the journey started by Bon Art Studio JSC as its direct successor and focuses on crafting media-based attractions for theme parks and public spaces.

The studio has moved to different locations, following its growth, and the majority of the team members have been part of the company for more than 10 years. Some of the team are celebrating 17 years of successful projects, and many of them still recall the first small office where they would often share late work nights and gaming tournaments.

Each new and bigger office has always been located on the same long street, with the number 1050 in its name. And just after finally leaving the street which hosted the company’s successful growth, the firm felt there was no better way to honour and own this past while embracing the future.

Dani Chakarova, CEO of the company shares: “The name and logo convey simplicity, honesty and meaning, accompanied by the brand-new website. All of them follow the same logic – the good work speaks for itself.

“The rebranding comes as a statement of dedication and clear focus. Recent trends in the attraction and leisure industry show that flawless visuals and thrilling interactive content are highly requested as the themed entertainment audience is becoming more demanding of real high-quality art and experiences. 1050 Studio steps up just at the right moment, with expertise, creativity and commitment to excellence.”

The rebranding was hugely successful and warmly welcomed by established and new partners at this year’s IAAPA Expo Europe in Vienna.

1050 Studio recently celebrated two new awards for Uncharted: The Enigma of Penitence and Sesame Street: Street Mission which both took second place in the Best New Roller Coaster in Europe and the Best Dark Ride in Europe categories at the latest European Stars Awards.

Currently, the company is working on several dark rides opening in the next year.
