Themed Entertainment Association announces new board members

TEA new board members

The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), a non-profit representing compelling places and experiences worldwide, announced the results of its annual elections for the International Board and Divisional Boards at the Annual Member meeting on 16 November in Orlando, Florida, US. During the meeting, the association welcomed the new leaders to their roles and thanked the outgoing board members who had finished their terms.

New TEA leaders

The new International Board of Directors, elected to three-year terms, are as follows:

  • Wendy Heimann-Nunes, Nolan Heimann LLP 
  • Shannon Martin, Color Reflections Las Vegas 
  • Luc Mayrand, Walt Disney Imagineering
  • Daniel Memis, Universal Destinations and Experiences
  • Denise Saviss, Princess Cruises
  • Greg Senner, Scenario

For the Asia Pacific Division, the following have been elected to three-year terms as board directors:

  • Rik Athorne, Weta Workshop Ltd.
  • Jonathan Casson, Sony Pictures Entertainment
  • Stephen Cavit, Iconic 360 – Sound & Music
  • Daniel Kent, K2 Amusement Technology Pte Ltd
  • Darren Lim, Neon Global
  • Mike Ross, 7thSense
  • Henry Yichuan Qiu, Shanghai Shendi Tourism and Resort Development Co., Ltd.

For the Eastern North America Division, those elected to three-year terms as Board Directors are:

  • Matthew Cross, OE Experiences
  • James Anderson, FORREC Ltd
  • AJ Goehle, Luci Creative
  • Chris Grap, Mall of America
  • Niko Nickolaou, Gaylord Hotels
  • Emily Popovich, L3DFX

​In the Europe and Middle East Division, the following have been elected to three-year terms as board directors:

The new Europe and Middle East Division individual member representatives, elected to two-year terms, are:

In the Western North America Division, those elected to three-year terms as board directors are:

Last week, the Themed Entertainment Association announced that registrations are now open for TEA INSPIRE and the 30th Annual Thea Awards Gala.
