Christie celebrates election of Joe Graziano to the TEA Board of Directors

News
Christie Joe Graziano TEA Board of Directors

Christie, the global visual and audio technology company, is celebrating the election of Joe Graziano, director of sales, Entertainment, EMEA, as a member of the Themed Entertainment Association’s (TEA) Europe and Middle East Board of Directors.

The appointment was announced at the 2023 IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida, during the TEA’s Annual Member Meeting. From 1 January 2024, Graziano will become a member of the board of directors and will undertake a three-year term.

Graziano comments: “I’m honored to be elected. To work alongside colleagues who share the same passion for this market, and to support the growth of the themed entertainment industry in Europe and the Middle East is certainly a career highlight. I’m excited to learn from and collaborate with leaders in our industry.”

Significant achievement

Graziano has been working at Christie for 17 years and served the last five as the director of sales, Entertainment, EMEA. His role has included many high-profile projects, and he has collaborated closely with partners, creative teams, and operators to provide unique experiences that go above and beyond expectations.

Examples of Graziano’s significant achievements include a number of projects for Expo 2020 Dubai, including the use of 252 Christie RGB pure laser projectors for the highly acclaimed Al Wasl dome, which remains a major attraction in Expo City Dubai.

Last month, Christie announced that the façade of the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple has been illuminated using its Griffyn Series RGB pure laser projectors for a spectacular son et lumière honouring the enduring legends of Lord Krishna, one of the most revered Hindu deities. The temple, in the holy city of Mathura in northern India, is historically considered to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna.

The firm also recently revealed that its high-performance RGB pure laser projectors are being deployed in several giant-screen and dome theatres at Mogao Grottoes Digital Exhibition Center in Jiuquan, China.
