This year’s Discovery Zone in Congress Square has been significantly extended. More than 70 new companies to ISE since 2022 will be exhibiting their innovative offerings, ensuring that delegates will discover new and unexpected solutions that can transform their projects.
The Catalonia Pavilion in Congress Square hosts local AV enterprises while also emphasising business growth opportunities. It will also be the site of the annual ISE Open Innovation Challenge, presented for the third time by ACCIÓ (the Catalonia Trade & Investment Agency) and Enterprise Europe Network. The Challenge is a hybrid matchmaking service that connects technology suppliers with Catalan businesses that intend to buy solutions.
The Catalan Audiovisual Cluster and the Barcelona City Council, which will host local start-ups, are also situated in Congress Square.
A brand-new programme for ISE 2024 will be hosted by Plug and Play, the foremost innovation platform that links businesses, startups, venture capital firms, academic institutions, and governmental organisations.
The Plug and Play Stage in Congress Square will offer a four-day programme, with keynote addresses and panel discussions on innovation-related subjects during the morning sessions, and a focus on startups in the afternoons. Innovative, forward-thinking businesses will have the chance to pitch to investors and present their offerings live on stage.
