Semnox Solutions UK office launch event

Launch event reflected the firm’s ongoing commitment to the UK and European markets

Semnox Solutions, a provider of technology for the entertainment and amusement industry, has formally opened its UK office in Reading with a launch event on 19 January.

The celebration symbolised Semnox’s ongoing growth and dedication to providing services to the UK and European markets.

Celebrating strong relationships

Clients such as Aaron Jones, director of Pleasurebeach in Great Yarmouth, and Billy Ball, owner of Clacton Pier, were among the notable guests at the event. Their attendance demonstrated Semnox’s commitment to developing solid alliances throughout the sector.

Semnox also received well wishes from prominent figures in the leisure and entertainment industry, such as Paul Marston from Playnation and Charles Holland from JHS Entertainment, even though they were unable to attend in person.

Vinayaka Kamath, business head for UK and Europe at Semnox Solutions, comments: “This inauguration signifies our readiness and excitement for this expansion, and underscores the strength of our client support. As we continue to grow, so too does our industry.”

The new UK office will serve as a central point for promoting growth, streamlining venue management, and implementing change at theme parks, water parks, family entertainment centres, and other attractions in the region.

Semnox Solutions recently revealed that it is now the technology partner for Palooza Park in Marrakech, which is its first amusement park project in Morocco. The park went live with Semnox technologies in October 2023, and has implemented a range of technologies including weather-proof deducting agents, barcode-enabled disposable wristbands, ticket sales, entry validation, and other solutions.

In addition, the firm has also recently collaborated with Wokivia, a new concept in edutainment centres which combine playgrounds and children’s museums. Wokivia has successfully launched three parks across west and northeast Mexico. It is now expanding its reach with a new venue in the southeast of the country, which will be located in Merida, Yucatán.
