Neom, northwest Saudi Arabia‘s $500 billion tourism development, is making progress on its Oxagon port and Sindalah resort, as well as The Line megacity.
Giles Pendleton, The Line’s chief operating officer, has shared a selection of new images on LinkedIn to showcase the latest updates at the giga-project.
Alongside the images, he wrote: “How to answer the naysayers about the incredible work being done in Neom? Show a cross section of the world’s largest building site from the mountains to the sea.”
He added, “Massive excavations on The Line, the future of island resorts on Sindalah and the next generation of ports and logistics at Oxagon.”

Neom’s first luxury island, Sindalah, covers around 840,000 square metres, Sindalah will offer a marina, golf course, beach club and yacht club. There will also be hotels and F&B outlets.
The Line is a zero-carbon city with “vertically layered” buildings for work, living and leisure, while Oxagon is an octagonal floating port city.
Earlier this week, Neom announced plans for an “ultra-modern” beach club on Sindalah in partnership with Saudi Arabian music entertainment company MDLBeast.
The beach club will be a space for cutting-edge events and immersive experiences. World-famous musicians, artists and DJs will feature alongside audiovisual (AV) installations.

“Sindalah is bringing a new model for luxury travel and living powered by innovation and sustainability,” said Antoni Vives, chief urban planning and islands officer at Neom.
“MDLBeast will reimagine the typical beach club experience into a tech-enhanced journey, leveraging the value of Sindalah as an iconic luxury island destination,” Vives added.
Prior to that, Neom announced Xaynor, a beachfront private members club on the Gulf of Aqaba. Xaynor will have private pools, beachside lounges, a spa and wellness centre, and retail, dining and leisure options.
