Fulldome.pro, the projection dome expert, has developed the Super Ride Dome, a thrilling, VR-like ride, which is experienced inside a 360-degree Super Reality Dome. This attraction delivers an immersive journey using motion seats that synchronise seamlessly with wrap-around visuals, yet does not require goggles or headsets.
Yana Fedorova, head of business development, Fulldome.pro, says: “Super Ride Dome is a high-tech, easy-install, immersive attraction designed for FECs and entertainment centers. Featuring a dynamic package of changeable 360 shows, it’s a VR-like experience that attracts repeat visitors and drives swift ROI.”
Flexible turnkey package
The Super Ride Dome offers a media-based attraction with flexible content that can be easily changed to keep visitors coming back for more. It has been designed for a wide range of attractions, including theme parks, FECs, visitor attractions, retail and real estate, and lifestyle destinations, and offers a high throughput.
The attraction immerses visitors in the action with a VR-like experience which does not need goggles or headsets. High-quality projections and special effects heighten the storytelling.
Operators can easily change the content to appeal to a wide range of new and repeat audiences. The Super Ride Dome includes a licence for five ride or fly shows, which can be renewed or replaced from the large content catalogue. In addition, Fulldome.pro’s in-house studio can develop custom content for the attraction.
The Super Ride Dome turnkey package includes 360 shows and motion seats, set within the Super Reality Dome.
This is Fulldome.pro’s most immersive dome so far, with an enormous projection surface that covers both the walls and the floor. The flagship attraction is available in three sizes: 4.5 meters, 6 meters, and 8 meters in diameter. It may be tailored to suit entertainment venues of any size or capacity. It offers operators a quick set-up both indoors and outdoors and on either a pop-up or permanent basis.
The comfortable motion seats enhance the audience’s immersion by synchronising perfectly with the movie. Their capacity to tilt, swing, and vibrate accurately mimics the experience of being inside the movie and provides special effects like wind, water, or leg tickling.
Fulldome.pro collaborates with all major motion seat suppliers, including Triotech, which developed the stand-up motion platform SuperFly.
Last month, Fulldome.pro shared details of its project to create a series of innovative flying theatres for The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. The firm provided four 10-meter flying theatre dome screens, a 4-meter open dome screen, and five projection servers.
