Dallas location will be followed by new venues in other US cities

Technology-enabled soccer experience company Toca Football is taking its Toca Social venues to the US, starting in Dallas, Texas.

The new Toca Social in Dallas will open next summer, ahead of the 2026 World Cup. It will be located in the Grandscape shopping centre in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Part of a partnership with Major League Soccer, the attraction will be followed by new expansions in other major US cities.

“We are thrilled to open our first American Toca Social in Dallas,” said Yoshi Maruyama, CEO of Toca. “Dallas is an amazing market with a deep passion for soccer and entertainment.

“As a host of the World Cup and building on Toca’s existing presence and partnership with FC Dallas, it is the perfect location to showcase Toca Social. Our goal is to create unforgettable experiences that blend soccer, technology, and social entertainment.”

Toca Social’s venues combine soccer, entertainment and dining to provide a unique and immersive experience for players of all ages and skill levels

The first Toca Social opened in London in 2021, and was followed by another location at Birmingham’s Bullring & Grand Central shopping centre.

Last month, Toca announced a partnership with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield to introduce Toca Social venues to its European shopping centres. Toca Social is also heading to Mexico in partnership with Ventura Entertainment.

Competitive socialising and active play

“We are excited to partner with Toca to bring Toca Social to the United States,” said Chris Schlosser, senior vice president of emerging ventures at Major League Soccer.

“This innovative concept will provide a unique and interactive experience for our fans, further enhancing their connection to the sport we all love. Our goal is to add innovation to soccer in the US as we prepare for the upcoming World Cup.”

Toca Social is a division of Toca Football. Its other segment is Toca Soccer, which operates soccer training centres across North America.
