ART Engineering unveils Braus & Saus at potts park

Ride will open in 2025 at potts park in Minden, Germany

ART Engineering, an amusement ride manufacturer that develops roller coasters, dark rides, carousels, water rides and more, has revealed that its new Family Spike Launch Coaster will open at potts park in Minden, Germany, in 2025.

This innovative family roller coaster, named ‘Braus & Saus’, will be situated in the park’s Wild Stone Age themed area.

Stone age fun for all the family

Braus & Saus spans approximately 2,000 square meters and caters to visitors of all ages. The coaster features a themed design which was created by potts park. At the beginning of the ride the train and visitors are “washed” in a Stone Age car wash and given a “polish” before being “air-dried” as the train takes off along the track.

The ride’s interlocking twisted spikes enable both forward and backward motion thanks to two open track ends. It can accommodate up to 16 riders at a time, with a specialised seat and restraint unit which means that young children can enjoy the ride accompanied by an adult. A theoretical throughput of 500 passengers per hour guarantees an enjoyable ride with efficient operation.

In addition, the extensive decoration and soundtrack created especially for Braus & Saus enables guests to fully immerse themselves in the fascinating Wild Stone Age world.

The ride marks a continued collaboration between ART Engineering and potts park. Henrik Pott, owner of potts park, says: “After deciding to build the prototype of the Wild Swing in 2021, we are now looking forward to another innovation from ART Engineering. The very pleasant cooperation with ART Engineering & and the quality of the facilities were ultimately the deciding factors in our decision to build the roller coaster with ART Engineering.”

“ART Engineering is proud to build another attraction for potts park with the Family Spike Launch Coaster, which impresses with its quality and innovative technology,” says a spokesperson from the firm.

“We are looking forward to the new ride for 2025 at potts park.”

ART Engineering will be exhibiting at IAAPA Expo Europe in Amsterdam. The firm will be at stand #11005 on the show floor, which is open from 24 to 26 September.

Last month, ART Engineering celebrated the opening of four new Wild Swing attractions in 2024. Rides have opened at Futroscope, Tripsdrill, Family Park and Majaland Gdansk.
