The Park Playground, a unique VR franchise, has announced that it will exhibit at this year’s IAAPA Expo Europe, taking place in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from 23 – 26 September. During the event, the team will showcase Carnival Showdown, a new immersive VR experience. They will also be on hand to discuss The Park Playground’s latest news, including its newest franchise venue opening in Porto, Portugal, as well as further venues opening across Europe this year.
A demonstration of Carnival Showdown, a competitive multiplayer virtual reality game that recreates the excitement and familiarity of amusement park activities in a number of engaging minigames, will be available for visitors to try out. The games are designed to be enjoyed by families and audiences of all ages and will put players’ aim, reaction times, and other skills to the test.
Attendees can also discover the company’s turnkey solution, The Park VR System, which it revealed at last year’s IAAPA Expo Europe and has since been adopted by Center Parcs Germany. This enables any leisure location to quickly and easily integrate The Park’s fully mobile, free-roam VR experiences into its own entertainment portfolio.
Firm continues to grow
Peter Vindevogel, CEO of The Park Playground, says:
“We’re excited to be participating at IAAPA Expo Europe again this year, especially at such an exciting time of growth for The Park Playground. We’re looking forward to showing guests the powerful potential of The Park VR System for their own business models and offering the chance to demo our newest VR experience, Carnival Showdown.
“As one of the most important and far-reaching attractions expos in the industry, we’re always eager to see the newest innovations that the sector has to offer and how far the industry has progressed year-on-year.”
The team will be at booth #8947 on the trade show floor.
Earlier this year, The Park Playground launched ‘The Park VR Tournament’, a new customisable experience for team-building events and group visits. Blooloop also recently caught up with Vindevogel to hear his insights into what makes a truly successful VR experience.
