The Balloon Museum is popping up in Los Angeles later this month with ‘Let’s Fly’, an immersive exhibition of 21 inflatable installations.
The pop-up show opens on 30 October and follows successful runs in Rome, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Naples, London, New York, Barcelona, Atlanta, Dusseldorf, Brussels, and Miami.
During the immersive experience at Ace Mission Studios in LA, guests will explore a world of contemporary art created to be touched and moved.

“Let’s Fly seeks to surprise and delight viewers with an otherworldly experience they won’t receive anywhere else,” said Roberto Fantauzzi, president of the Balloon Museum’s parent company, Lux Holding.
“The creative enclave of the Arts District was a natural fit for our next destination, and we are thrilled to join this vibrant community and welcome Los Angeles visitors and residents to Balloon Museum.”
The Balloon Museum features inflatable installations by 21 artists, and the LA pop-up will mark the debut of its newest work, ‘Mariposa’ – a 26-foot-wide sculpture.
Designed by LED artist Christopher Schardt, the work first went on view at Burning Man in 2023 and is illuminated with more than 39,000 colourful LEDs.

Each edition of the Balloon Museum is different, influenced by the local art community and culture but “connected through the shared central medium of air”, a press release says.
Since the Balloon Museum launched in Rome in 2021, it has been seen by more than 4.4 million people.
In more LA news, Meow Wolf has confirmed the location of its sixth permanent exhibition, which is located at the Cinemark complex at Howard Hughes Los Angeles.
