The new Disney Adventure boasts the longest coaster at sea

Bookings for the Disney Adventure, the first Disney Cruise Line ship for guests in Asia, have opened today (10 December).

The Disney Adventure sets sail from Singapore on 15 December 2025. “The ship is set to be a game-changer,” said Sarah Fox, regional general manager for Southeast Asia at Disney Cruise Line (via the South China Morning Post).

“Every aspect of the ship has been thoughtfully crafted.”

Singapore will be the ship’s home port for at least five years. During that time, Jacqueline Ng, director of the Singapore Tourism Board’s cruise development group, expects the Disney Adventure to attract several million domestic and international passengers.

In 2023, Singapore welcomed a record two million cruises passengers. More than half of them came from overseas.

Highlights on the new Disney Adventure include the longest coaster at sea, ‘Ironcycle Test Run’, in an immersive Marvel-themed zone called ‘Marvel Landing’. Other attractions in this zone are ‘Pym Quantum Racers’ and ‘Groot Galaxy Spin’.

The Disney Adventure has seven themed areas: Disney Imagination Garden, Toy Story Place, San Fransokyo Street, Town Square, Wayfinder Bay, Disney Discovery Reef and Marvel Landing.

“From fun and interactive spaces for kids, to relaxing venues for adults to unwind, to entertaining and engaging places for families to enjoy together, guests will find endless adventures from bow to stern,” said Fox.

Another new Disney cruise ship, the Disney Treasure, is set to embark on its maiden voyage on 21 December.

Both the Treasure and the Adventure are part of a huge expansion of Disney Cruise Line’s fleet, which includes the Disney Destiny, a new ship to sail from Japan, and four additional vessels.

Currently, Disney Cruise Line has five ships. When its expansion is completed, the fleet will include a total of 13 ships.
