Zumba experiences and drawing classes come to Disney Springs

Disney Springs at Walt Disney World is offering various wellness experiences throughout January, including Cirque du Soleil fitness classes and free facials.

A the shopping, dining and entertainment complex, guests can either register for one of seven pre-built itineraries of wellness activities, or enjoy limited-time offerings like drawing classes, and free facials at L’Occitane en Provence and Mac Cosmetics.

The curated itineraries are as follows:

Reinvigorate Yourself includes a Cirque du Soleil fitness class, a discount at the Cirque du Soleil store, and lunch and free mocktails at Morimoto Asia.

Connect with Your Senses includes a stroll along the Disney Springs Art Walk, a 15 percent discount at Basin, and lunch and free mocktails at Morimoto Asia.

Find Your Balance offers a fitness class with lululemon, a free gift with purchase at lululemon, and 10 percent off lunch at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’.

Family Day Out offers a Zumba class, discounted bowling and lunch at Splitsville Luxury Lanes, and 10 percent off at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew.

Guys’ Day Out includes a photography tour of Disney Springs and discounted bowling and lunch at Splitsville Luxury Lanes.

Girls’ Day Out includes a photography tour of Disney Springs, a tea sampling class at the Spice & Tea Exchange, and lunch and discounted mocktails at Paddlefish or Terralina Crafted Italian. 

Finally, Date Night provides a photography tour of Disney Springs, 15 percent off at Basin, and a dining experience followed by Cirque du Soleil and Disney’s Drawn to Life show.

Immersive wellness trend

From yoga classes at the Louvre museum in Paris to art and sauna exhibitions at teamLab, wellness experiences in immersive settings are a major trend in the attractions business, as well as the wider travel and tourism industry.

Wellness is one of the fastest-growing travel sub-sectors, projected to reach $8.5 trillion by 2027.
