Guests will get to crack cases and analyse blood smears

Dexter is the latest TV brand to be transformed into an immersive experience, with Paramount Plus launching a new attraction in London next month.

Dexter: The Experience is described as an immersive journey through Dexter Morgan’s most iconic moments, with guests solving intense challenges while following the Code of Harry.

Visitors will become Dexter’s Dark Passenger as they work in teams to crack cases, analyse blood smears, and piece together the Ice Truck Killer’s gruesome message.

The experience includes seven themed rooms inspired by iconic scenes from the Dexter franchise, as well as live actors and narration by Dexter star Michael C. Hall.

Highlights also include photo opportunities in Dexter’s plastic wrap kill room and the Trinity Killer’s bathtub of blood, and themed cocktails and merchandise.

An immersive journey as Dexter’s Dark Passenger

Here’s a description:

“Dexter: The Experience draws you into the mind of a killer. You become his Dark Passenger, Dexter’s darkest urges – to kill.

“This immersive walk-through experience forces you to think, react and follow the Code of Harry, all while you navigate interactive challenges under pressure.

“You’ll meet some familiar characters along the way, blurring the lines between memory and reality, until finally, you get a glimpse into Dexter’s future.”

Dexter: The Experience runs on 10, 11, 12 and 13 July in Shoreditch, London.

It’s launching to coincide with the premiere of Dexter: Resurrection on 11 July, which follows previous series Dexter, Dexter: Original Sin, and Dexter: New Blood.

In more news, Sandbox VR and Netflix have joined forces to create a new immersive VR experience based on Stranger Things called Stranger Things: Catalyst.
