RIXEN Cableways is a global pioneer in the design and manufacture of cable water ski and wakeboard systems. Established in 1960, RIXEN was the world’s first company to develop and install a full-size cable water ski system, and today remains at the forefront of innovation within the industry. Headquartered in Germany, RIXEN has played a vital role in shaping the growth of watersports across the world, with over 500 installations to date.
Cable Park Systems
The company offers turnkey solutions for commercial full-size cable park systems. The water ski cableway consists of a circuit of 5 – 6 towers that can be placed over water or on land, complete with pulleys connected to cantelevers. The drive mast utilises high precision technology to seamlessly engage and disengage riders’ tow lines via carriers running along the continuously moving cable loop. Riders begin their journey from a purpose-built glide ramp at the designated launch point. Depending on the layout and length of the system, up to 12 participants can ride at once. With the ability to accommodate between 300 and 500 visitors per day and offering impressively low operational costs, Rixen presents an efficient and highly profitable solution for water sports operators.
Sustainability

RIXEN is committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility across its operations and product line. Its systems are electrically powered, producing low emissions at the point of use and providing an eco-friendly alternative to boat-powered watersports.
Their systems also offer clients an efficient and long-lasting solution, reducing the need for frequent replacements.
Client Support
As a true partner, RIXEN places an emphasis on post-installation care, offering global technical support and maintenance to keep cable systems operating at peak performance. They offer a variety of service packages to ensure that clients’ cableway systems are maintained to the highest quality and are running both optimally and efficiently.
Clients benefit from comprehensive training during installation, as well as ongoing consultation, upgrade options, and spare parts availability.
