Zero Latency, a global leader in VR entertainment, is expanding into South America with a new venue set to launch in Asunción, Paraguay.

Premium social immersive experiences at the new location will enable groups to journey through vast virtual worlds, free of cumbersome cables or backpacks.

Promoting growth & innovation

Experienced Paraguayan entrepreneur, Cipriano Sáenz, is leading the venture.

Sáenz brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing, trade, and business intelligence across a range of sectors, including retail, telecommunications, and consumer goods. He has served in key positions at multinational companies where he has been pivotal in driving commercial strategies and heading multifunctional teams.

Additionally, Sáenz is involved with Paraguay Ventures, a company committed to facilitating investments and providing strategic consultancy services across the region.

He says: “Bringing Zero Latency to Paraguay is more than just launching a new entertainment venue; it’s about introducing a transformative experience that resonates with our community’s growing appetite for innovative and social activities.

“With my background in marketing and business development, I see immense potential in offering an attraction that combines cutting-edge technology with shared human experiences. This venture aligns perfectly with my commitment to fostering growth and innovation in Paraguay.”

Zero Latency 10th birthday

Zero Latency’s growth in Paraguay underscores the country’s burgeoning appeal to international investors and its dedication to embracing technological advancements. According to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Paraguay welcomed approximately 100 new investors in the first quarter of 2025, with strong interest in industries such as real estate, commerce, and agroindustry.

The venue in Asunción will include Zero Latency’s cutting-edge VR experiences, where up to eight players can simultaneously explore and interact within expansive virtual worlds. This addition seeks to enhance the local entertainment environment and provide a distinctive offering for both the community and tourists to enjoy immersive group activities.

Earlier this month, Zero Latency announced that it is embarking on a new phase of international expansion, with new locations launching each month and an increasing number of operators working in collaboration with the platform. This expansion is focusing on high-growth markets including North America, India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
