TOR Systems, a ticketing and booking specialist, will be presenting an Innovation Session at blooloop V-Expo looking at visitor flow and revenue in a post-COVID world.
Tor Systems is pleased to announce that it will be taking part in the first-ever blooloop V-Expo next week, by hosting an Innovation Session. The blooloop V-Expo takes place from 13 – 15 October and is an ideal chance for attractions industry professionals to learn, network and more.
The session is entitled Managing Visitor Flow and Maximising Revenue Post-COVID. It will be presented by Daniel Jordan, Managing Director at TOR Systems, in the Innovation Auditorium on Wednesday 14 October at 10 am BST and will be followed by a live Q&A.
Ticketing solutions for a post-pandemic world
During this session, TOR will explore how attractions can keep visitors safe as they reopen by managing visitor flow and capacity. The company’s Maxim cloud-based ticketing solution has helped many of its clients work through the lockdown and hit the ground running when they are able to reopen and to put new restrictions in place.
The use of Cloud technologies and simple customer booking is key to managing attractions whilst adhering to the new restricted capacities. In addition to this, reduced visitor capacity means reduced income, so it’s vital that both the initial and secondary spends are maximised.
Maxim provides intuitive upselling, as well as the collection of donations to create additional revenue. Plus, its scanning system combined with e-tickets reduces physical contact between staff and visitors.
COVID-19 has had a huge impact on the longer-term decision-making surrounding technology solutions. During this session, attendees will find out what lessons the sector can learn regarding attractions ticketing.
Earlier this year, TOR Systems held its annual User Forum, where customers were able to learn about what the company has delivered in the past year as well as finding out about future developments.
There’s still time to register for blooloop V-Expo here, in order to benefit from a packed schedule of expert speakers, discussion panels, networking opportunities and more. During the virtual event, which is hosted by Merlin Entertainments, there is event a fun quiz from our friends at Two Bit Circus and a 5 or 10k fun run to raise money for the SEA LIFE Trust.
