Leading management software solutions company, Gateway Ticketing Systems Ltd., is providing its latest revenue management and CRM solution to Brunel’s SS Great Britain.
The platform will handle ticketing and donations on the front desk, by phone and online. Additionally, it will track visitors and donations, as well as managing fundraising, membership, merchandising and CRM.
Brunel’s SS Great Britain is TripAdvisor’s Number 1 tourist attraction in Bristol. A technical innovation of her time, she is one of the most significant historic ships in the world. In fact, when the iron-hulled steam ship launched in 1843, she was dubbed ‘the greatest experiment since the Creation’.
The attraction is looking to Gateway’s solution to help strengthen customer relationships and enhance the guest experience going forward.
“We are very excited at the prospect of working with Gateway,” confirmed Louisa Pharoah, Director of Development, SS Great Britain Trust.
Pharoah cited Gateway’s proven track record with a number of the UK’s biggest attractions.
“Gateway proved themselves to be best suited our complex needs,” she said. “We look forward to utilising their industry expertise to ensure the customer experience is the best it can be. I have no doubt that we will go from strength to strength as we grow the collection and attract more visitors together.”
Andy Povey, Gateway’s Business Development Director, described the new partnership as ‘fantastic news’.
“We have spent much time and effort working with charitable organisations to support revenue generation and improve customer relationships. We look forward to sharing this with the team there,” he added. “With the opening of a new museum in early 2018, it is imperative that Brunel’s SS Great Britain have the best software to support their mission.”
