Leading experience design company, Katapult, has joined the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), hailing collaboration as key to the future of the attractions industry.
The move puts Katapult alongside other world-leading creators, developers, designers and producers of compelling places and experiences. The company says it will further enhance its worldwide credentials.
“We have been active members of the leisure & attractions industry for the last 17 years and now it’s vital that we collaborate to create and lead the industry for the future,” explains Katapult’s Strategy and Development Director, Kelly Herrick.
“Katapult are a creative agency and being amongst other creative professionals will inspire us. One of our values is constant curiosity – something we will get to exercise at the many TEA events worldwide.”
The UK-based company designs and plans engaging theming and experiences for a diverse range of clients, with recent projects including Atlantis, The Palm in the Middle East and Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park. The company is currently working with Merlin Entertainments to create event experiences for LEGOLAND Discovery Centres.
“For us, adding a TEA membership to our BALPPA & IAAPA memberships and Blooloop partnership is about commitment and engagement with our industry,” adds Herrick.
“We are really looking forward to our first TEA event at EAS Amsterdam in September.”
